Businesses for Sale in BC

Street-level commercial storefronts including 'Muse Wellness' signage under a modern building

Looking at buying a business? Know what's included: the operation, the lease and any real estate.

Know what you're buying

A business sale can include assets, shares, goodwill, inventory, equipment or a leasehold interest. The property may be sold separately or not at all. Work out the deal structure before you compare prices or financing.

Keep it confidential

Ask for information through the listing representative. You may need to sign an NDA before you see financials, staffing or names. Please don't visit a confidential business or speak to its staff unless we've arranged it. Sending the enquiry form starts a conversation, but it doesn't sign an NDA.

Have the numbers checked

Ask your accountant and lawyer to review financial statements, tax filings, the lease, licences, contracts and equipment obligations. Think about working capital and transition help as well as the price. If you're selling, we can start with a confidential chat about your business, premises and timing.
